BBQ and more....

Today we decided to go up Springville canyon and have a little BBQ with just the three of us. It was a nice day but with the wind blowing it was a little on the cold side. That didn't seem to bother Andie one bit. She loved every minute we were up there. She was finding a lot of different things on the ground and she loved it. Her favorite part was when Landen took her over to the water. He let her play in it for a little bit with her hands. She didn't even seem to mind that it was FREEZING cold!!!
This is where we had our BBQ.

Andie saw a swing set and she had to swing on it. She was laughing so hard when Landen was pushing her.

This was on our way home. She loves to play with Landen's hats and she knows how to put them on. She will walk around the house with it on all day.

Today was a really good day. It was so much fun to watch Andie. Hopefully next time we go it will be a little bit warmer!

Mr. Mom.........

For the last month and a half I have been going back to school. I go every tuesday and thursday night from 6:00p.m -10:00p.m. It has definatly been weird going back to school since I haven't been in almost four years. I am re-taking a course so I can take the certification test to be a pharmacy technician. I really liked working as a phlebotomist and x-ray tech. but I have decided if I am going to go back to work I would rather do this. The reason why I am writing all of this is because I wanted to tell Landen THANK YOU!!! He has become Mr. mom on tuesdays and thursdays. It would be so much harder to go back to school if I had to find a babysitter for four hours twice a week. At the begining he had to work those nights for the utah flash so I did have to find someone to watch her. Mostly my parents, who were planning two weddings. I also thank them for their time. Landens parents are more than happy to help anytime we need it. They help us out with Andie so much! Now the flash are done so it is Landen every time. He always seems happy to do it even if he has a test or final to study for. I am just for thankful for him and what a wonderful Dad and husband he is.

Random stuff........

Andie loves both of her Grandpa's! It kind of makes her Grandma's a little sad. Most of the time she would rather go to Grandpa rather than Grandma. She gets so excited when she gets to see them! I love to see them play with her.

Andie and Grandpa Garner

Can you guess what this is a picture of?!?!

Well for the past 2 months Andie has been telling me when she needs to go to the bathroom. I just never did anything about it because she was so little still (and still is). Finally about 2-3 weeks ago I decided to buy her a potty and see how it goes. It has been going great!!! No more chaning messy diapers! Her Aunts were over here playing with her and she had to go potty. They thought she was being so funny so they snapped some photos. This one is so funny. She loves her potty. She is only 19 months old and on her way to being potty trained. She isn't there all the way yet but she is on her way!

Well Moving on.........

This is Andie this morning first things when she woke up. First thing she said was, "Baboo". Which means balloon. She wanted to hold her balloons right when she woke up. She is so cute with them. She holds on to them and walks around the house with them all day. She even had to go to the potty with them today. She makes me laugh. I love to watch her learn new things and grow.

Mom and Dad

April 21st was my parents 30th anniversary! My brothers and sisters and I decided to throw them a surprise anniversary party with their family and friends. They were so surprised! We had it a the church and how we got them there was funny. The Bishop called them the day of and told them that he needed to talk with them at the church that same night. My Mom and Dad were a little bit nervouse why the Bishop would need to talk to them with such short notice and on a Monday night. When they got into the Bishop's office the Bishop talked to them for a minute and then said before we get started I have something I want to show you. He brought them into the gym and we were waiting for them. They were so surprised! It was so fun to be able to keep it a surprise and to have it actually work.

It was a wonderful evening. We all got up and shared with my parents how wonderful they are and how much we love them. My Mom got teary eyed and to our surprise so did my Dad. I probably never would be able to express enough how much I love and appreciate my parents. I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

This is Andie walking around after dinner with a bunch of balloons tied to her skirt. She loved it. She would have slept like that if we would have let her.

This is the banner me and my sister Lisa made. It was fun to make together, I had even more fun watching Lisa try and make that yellow n.

I have more pictures of my parents but I will have to add them later.
