Sledding

The day after Christmas my family went up hoble creek and went sledding. My parents wanted to do a family activity before my dad went in for surgery. Landen and Andie went down the hill a lot and Andie loved it. She hated it last year so I was happy that she like it this year. Landen took Logan down once. It was so cold I didn't want him going down to much. Logan and I mostly just hung out by the fire they had at the pavillion and I drank hot chocolate. It was so cold that day but it was fun to watch everyone go sledding.

Andie is trying to help landen clean the snow off the car

She was attempting to ride her bike in the snow and then she gave up.

Christmas at the Garners

Afer we were done at my parents house we headed over to Landen's parents. Landen's youngest sister is 8 so it is fun to his younger sisters get excited about Christmas. We opened presents when we got there. We spent the rest of the day watching movies, talking, playing games and just sitting around. Andie spent the day playing with her Aunts. She LOVES going out there because her Aunt Sammy will play with her for hours and hours.

Landen wanted to take this crate home with us. He liked the idea of Logan staying in one spot. He doesn't like it when he gets on his belly and starts to get mad because he can't sit back up yet.

We spent the rest of the day there until it was time for the kids to go to bed. It was good to just sit and relax with family.

Christmas morning at the Tipton's

After we were done opening presents at our house we made our way over to my parents house to have breakfast and open some gifts. We had some delicious apple cider pankcakes and syrup that Michelle made and we always have a breakfast quiche made by my Mom which is always yummy. We opened gifts from my parents and the grandkids did to. Logan got lots of clothes which he really needed and they were so cute. Andie got a cabage patch doll from the cabage patch hospital in Georgia. My parents took a tour of the hospital when they were there for my Dad's cancer treatments. They watched some dolls be born and they got to name one of them. They named her Andie. They thought it would be cute to get Andie a doll from there. They got adoption papers and everything and they named the doll they got her Andie Laurie. It is a really big doll and it is so cute. It smells like baby powder. Andie loves it.

Andie opeing her Cabbage Patch Doll.

This year we were all at my parents house at the same time to have breakfast. That is the first year in a long time that has happened. It was fun the whole family could be there together.

Christmas morning at our house

Christmas was so much fun this year. Logan woke up at 7:30 so we woke Andie up and my parents came over to watch her open her presents. Let me just say that Andie does NOT like to be woken up. When I brought her out she just stared at everything and wanted to go back to bed. It took her about 5 minutes to realize what was going on and that she could actually open all of her presents that we have been telling her for weeks that she couldn't open. She had fun opening them. It was fun to watch her reaction to each one.
She was laying all of her candy from her stocking out.

Logan happy as can be while Grandma T is helping him.

When she opened this present she put her hand over her mouth and in a shocked voice she said "O H M Y G O S H! We had got her something she really like at garner village and she must have been shocked that it was at her house. I don't know but it was so funny.

She LOVES curious george

She was still waking up in the picture

Opening her first present

This is when she first came out and just stared at everything. She wasn't too sure if she could play with it or not.
We had been telling Andie for about a month that Jesus's birthday was coming and we call it Christmas. We told her that she gets to open presents on his birthday to celebrate. I didn't know how else to explain it to a 3 year old. Well Landen birthday is on the 7th of January and a couple of days after Christmas I was telling her that Dad's birthday is coming up and she kept asking me if she gets to open some presents. Now she thinks she gets presents for other peoples birthdays. She makes me laugh every day.

Christmas Eve

My family has a tradition every year where we have a party on Christmas Eve. We have a yummy dinner and a program where each family does a musical number or shares a christmas story....they pretty much can do whatever they want. This year Aubrey played some christmas songs on the piano, Landen read some scriptures, Brandon shared some thoughts and feelings and my Mom shared a little lesson. We also sang some christmas carols. We do the Nativity every year. I love doing this. We have done it ever since I can remember and it is a tradition we will always do. It helps us remember why we celebrate Christmas. We opened our gifts that we drew names for (on Christmas we are not all at my parents house at the same time). The kids opened their new Pj's from Grandma and Grandpa Tipton. They were so cute. Then santa came. We just hung around and talked with everyone until it was time to go to bed and Santa to come.
I had to take a picture of these two girls videoing the nativity

Jaydon was Joseph, Alli is Mary and kai is baby Jesus

Evan is a shephard

Andie is the Angel

Aubrey is a shepherd

Landen read the story from the bible

I had to take this picture. She was making me laugh so hard.

The kids opening their Pj's

Logan did not like sitting on his lap. It is 3rd time sitting on his lap and the only time he cried.
Andie told Santa she wanted a baby doll
We had a really fun evening together. One of the best parts of Christmas is spending time with our families.

I'm back

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. We have been really busy at our house and I haven't worried about the blog. I decided to finally just post a ton of pictures of what has been going on and let that be my catch up post. This will be the longest post I have ever done but probably one of my favorite because so much fun stuff happened in these pictures. They aren't in order so enjoy.

Reese and Andie playing outside with their strollers.

Santa was at walmart so the kids got pictures taken with him.

Andie was eating a cup cake while she was sitting right next to Logan. Logan reached over and grabbed all the frosting off the top and ate most of it before I noticed what was going on. He had a tummy ache for two days.

Andie thought it was really funny

Andie, Reese, Aubrey and Alli playing bed time. They were being so funny.

My first fondant cake that I made at the spur of the moment and I did it in only about 3 hours. Andie loved helping me out if you can't tell.

Andie and Reese playing out side

Andie fell asleep reading this book one night. It was so cute. I love the nights when she falls asleep in random places before bed time.

Andie and Reese making some sugar cookies. They liked eating the frosting more than putting it on the cookies. Andie, Aunt Lisa and Logan at my parents ward trunk or treat

Andie after Landens halloween work party. She had to get her teeth taken out so she is missing her teeth in this picture.
Andie and Evan making a craft at story time at the Library.
