Snow Bird

For our anniversary we went to the Ski resort Snow Bird. We stayed in a lodge right at the base of the resort. The View was AMAZING. It was so beautiful!!! Everywhere we went there was a breathtaking view. Everything that we did was only 3-5 minute walk away from where our lodge was. We had a lot of fun and very relaxing couple of days. It was nice not being rushed to do anything and just do things at our own pace.
This was right after we had walked into our room! This is the view from our room! Us standing on our balcony. (The picture doesn't compare to the real thing)

We took the tram up to the top of the mountain. This is at the top. It is pretty with the snow still there.

At the begining of that new tunnel. It was pretty cold in there.

We ate at this outdoor restaurant and little chipmunks/squirls were running all over just waiting for someone to drop some food. There was a chip under our table and this little guy came and ate it.
We also did a little shopping around the gift shops and swam in the pool and hot tub. It was the perfect way to spend our anniversary. We would like to back there in the winter since Snow Bird is one of our favorite places to snowboard but the cost for the lodge more than doubles. Maybe one day we will be able too!

Thanks to Landen's parents for watching Andie so we could even go. We are so greatful for all that they do for us and how much they love Andie.

Landen has been an amazing husband the past three years and a wonderful Dad to Andie. I am blessed that I get to spend eternity with him. I love you Landen.

Our Wedding

Our three year anniversary was yesterday. I thought I would put a couple of pictures from our wedding on here and then I started looking at them and..............it got out of control. There are tons of pictures so beware. All of these pictures are NOT the ones by the photographer just the ones that random people in my family took. I don't have a disk of the professional ones and I don't have a scanner to scan them. I haven't looked at our pictures in a long time. It was fun looking at them again. Everyone has changed so much.
Here is the story of how me and Landen met. We both would go country dancing at least once a week and sometimes twice a week. We had been dancing together for 4-5 months and then Landen finally asked for my number. I was excited but also a little intimidated because I thought that Landen was really good looking.
Our first date was of course a baseball game at the Provo Angels (which is now the Orem Owlz). We went to opening game on June 23, 2004. Since it was opening game there were fireworks. It was a lot of fun. That summer consisted of many more Provo Angels games. Landen ended up proposing April 7, 2005 at the Salt Lake Stingers game (Now the Bee's). The proposal is another story that I will blog about some other time. It was amazing. We of course were married on July 29, 2005.

This is the awesome band that played at our reception. It was the best part of the whole thing!

This is the good food that we NEVER got to eat.

Our first dance being married.
(We just had to have a country band and have a dance because that is how we met)

Of course we couldn't go without having a picture with baseball hats! (The professional one turned out really good)
Landen was a little surprised by this but he didn't complain.

Little Allie. She is all grown up now

Spanish Fork Rodeo

Some friends gave us some tickets yesterday to the rodeo that was last night. It was a lot of fun. Andie did pretty well. We were able to stay for the whole thing. It was her first rodeo and she seemed to really like seeing the horses run around. Her favorite thing to watch was the sheep. I forgot what it is called but when the little kids ride the sheep and hold on as long as they can, well she really liked that.

Andie was being so cute. She kept on putting her arms around both of our necks and pulling us all close together She thought that she was pretty cool that she could sit on the ground and have her legs hanging. She needed a little break from everything that was going on.

I could not get her to look at me. I think this was while the barell racing was going on. She was pretty interested

Start laughing now.......

because me and Landen went to the American Idol concert last night. People have been making fun of us, especially Landens co-workers but we love American Idol and had so much fun at the concert! The top 10 idols sang 3 songs each and then they sang two songs together. All of them sounded really good live. We really liked Micheal Johns, Brooke White, Jason Castro (when he sang over the rainbow), Syesha, of course david Archuleta and David Cook. When Archuleta came out you couldn't hear yourself talk. For the first part of the song you could barely even hear him singing. The crowd was going wild and was so LOUD!

Our seats were in the nose bleed section but that didn't stop us having a blast. We tried to take some pictures but they turned out really bad because we were so far back.

No matter how much we got made fun of we are so glad that we went!! (I know that you are all secretly jelouse)

Who needs their arms and legs....?

This past week I have done some things that I haven't done in a long time which made me VERY SORE!!! It started out going on my brother Brandon's Ski boat. All I did was go on the tube but I had to hold on for my life. The next couple of days I was so sore. I couldn't really recover from being sore because starting on tuesday my ward participated in a church softball tourniment that went until thursday. Which added onto the sore muscles. We took 4th out of 25 teams. It was so much fun and i got to know the sisters in my ward a lot better. The last game we played it in the sprinklers. I slipped in the mud a couple of times and got slivers in my hand because the field had torns on it. It still was so much fun!! I can't wait until next year. Just when I thought I could move again my family went to Garetts cabin for the weekend down to scoefield. Brandon brought his boat and we spent all day saturday on the lake. We did tubing and knee boarding. By the time eveyone got a turn the sun was going down so we didn't get the wake board or skii's out. It was so much fun and Garetts cabin was amazing!! Thanks Brandon & Michelle and Lisa & Garett for such a fun weekend!! Today I can barely move. I think I need to lay off going on the boat until I can use all of my limbs without making a sour face. Sore or not it all was still worth it. Everything was so much fun!!!

4th of July weekend....

This past weekend was a lot of fun! We actually got to see Landen! Andie loved having her Dad home. He really enjoyed being home also and just being able to relax with his girls. On the 4th we just relaxed at our house with each other and watched a movie. That night we went over to Rock Canyon Park with some friends and had a BBQ and watched the fireworks. It was fun and Andie loved running around. We played some volleyball and Andie was pretty good just to sit in the grass and watch us. When the fireworks started she was a little scared of them and need Daddy to hold her and then after a little bit she couldn't take her eyes off of them. The ride home only took us a HOUR & FOURTY MINUTES!!! The traffic was pretty crazy. It was still worth it for all of the fun that we had. Saturday we decided to go over to Provo to walk around the booths that they had there. It was really hot but Andie still had a good time walking around in her stroller. I bought something for Andie to wear in her two year pictures which I am very excited for. That night we went down to Scofeild with my family on my brothers new ski boat. We fished until dark and then they lit fireworks off of the island. It was cool to watch them on the lake in the boat. It was a lot of fun! On Sunday we had a family home evening up Provo canyon with Landen's extended family. We had a light dinner and a lesson. It was really good. Andie loves to see her Aunts and Uncles and Grandma & Grandpa! Yesterday after Landen got home from work we went on my brother Brandon's boat and did some tubing and swimming and wakeboarding. It was so much fun. Andie really like ridding on the tube. She loved swimming in the water. It was such a nice day and the water was so warm. The water wasn't very calm but we still had a lot of fun. That is the first time we have got to spend so much time with Landen since the season started. Now we are back to games for 7 days in a row. It was really nice to spend a lot of fun times together as a family. Now that I am done rambling here are some pictures from the weeked.

Landen's dad brought this bike over to us with a car seat on the back for Andie. Now we can go for little bike rides. SHE LOVES IT!!

This is up Provo Canyon at family home evening. Andie on the Ski boat fishing

Last night I went to the Collin Raye, Joe Nickels & Josh Gracin concert. Landen had to work at it so I just hung out with friends and family. It was SO MUCH FUN!! We were really close for Josh Gracin & Collin Raye but for Joe Nickels we were right against the stage which was AWESOME!! It was so much fun! I love concerts!

Take me out to the ball game!!!

Opening game is FINALLY here. We have been looking forward to this all year. Now that the season is here we are anxious to get it over with! Landen has been working until 2:30 a.m every day and begining work at 9:00 a.m for the past week. He is definatly exhausted!!! He has been working really hard with Helamans camp also. He is going up to that tomorrow, and spending the weekend with the scouts. He will get home Saturday afternoon and then go right to the stadium for another game.
We had a lot of of fun at the game. We took Mae, from our ward, along and we all had a lot of fun with her.

Andie & Landen
(I didn't really get to doing Andie's hair so one of her aunts did it really fast for me. She just looked a little neglected that day.)
Marie, Mae, Andie & me
I have a lot more pictures but I am having some problems with my SD card. When I fix it I will post the rest of them. I have some really good ones of Mae. She is so CUTE!

The game went into extra innings (13 innings to be exact) and the power went out so we ended up leaving early. The owlz WON 6-5. It was a good Opening game and we hope that Mae will be able to come with us again!

Books.........

When Andie got done going to the bathroom this morning this is what our bathroom looked like...

That is what it looks like EVERY time she is done. When she goes into the bathroom she makes sure she has plenty of books to look at. She usally is in there for about 15 minutes so I guess she knows what she is doing. I just think it is so funny how she is with her books and the bathroom. She won't go without at least one but it usually ends up being several. Sometimes if she gets sick of the ones she has she will hurry and get up and run and get a couple more and then come back. I can't complain though, whatever gets the job done!
